A promo film, made in code
A 22-second advert for Sorted., a made-up bookkeeping service. No video software: AI wrote the animation as code, so any word can be changed in a minute.
Where you’d learn this: AI Business Launchpad
A 22-second promo film for Sorted, a made-up bookkeeping service for sole traders. The script: Receipts in a shoebox? Tax return, the night before? Sorted. Bookkeeping for sole traders. Snap a receipt. We'll do the rest. Your numbers, in plain English: a one-page summary every month. Tax return? Filed. Early. First month on us. No contracts. Cancel any time. Sorted. From shoebox to sorted. Book a free 15-minute chat.
The brief we gave the AI
“Make a 20-second promo film for Sorted., a made-up bookkeeping service for sole traders. Open on the problem: receipts in a shoebox and a tax return done the night before. Turn the mess into the logo, then show three benefits in plain English, offer the first month free and finish on an end card that asks people to book a free 15-minute chat. Brand: deep indigo, lime and lilac on warm paper, with bold, wide type. Build it in code with GSAP, so it stays sharp at any size and I can change the words myself.”
Then a few rounds of feedback (“the receipts should land faster”) and some edits by hand. No video software and no stock footage: the film is live code running in your browser, which is why it stays sharp at any size.
A slice of the code: the mess becomes the logo

From messy notes to something polished
The four-part prompt behind most good results, reusable on almost any task. Pick a starting point and watch it work.

Notes from Tuesday's team meeting
tues team mtg - Q3 newsletter late AGAIN?? sam says design waiting on copy - leah starts mon, laptop not ordered!! - budget review w/ finance before 20th. dev to pull numbers? - client survey, who owns it. me?? - move standup to 9.30? all ok except raj (client call) - office closed fri 28th, tell everyone
RoleYou're the operations lead for a small marketing team.
ContextBelow are my rough notes from Tuesday's team meeting. Sam does design, Dev works with finance and Leah starts on Monday.
TaskTurn them into a clear action list. Give every action an owner and a deadline, and flag anything that's blocked or waiting on a decision from me.
FormatOne summary line, then three groups: This week, Next two weeks, Decisions for you. Short bullet points in plain British English.
Then paste your notes underneath and send it.
Pick a starting point to see the result written out.
Written in advance to show what this prompt typically produces. In a session you’d run it on your own notes, in your own AI tool.
Why this prompt works
- RoleNaming a role sets the standard. An operations lead thinks in owners and deadlines, not just summaries.
- ContextSaying who Sam, Dev and Leah are lets the AI assign real owners instead of guessing.
- TaskAsking it to flag blocked items is what surfaced the newsletter problem.
- FormatChoosing the groups yourself gives you the same shape every week, so the list is quick to scan.
Reuse it: swap the notes, keep the four parts.

A demo: no AI is called here. Simple rules build the kit in your browser, seeded from the name, so the same name always gives the same result, and every colour pair is checked for readable contrast. In a session you’d use AI to go much further, with real logo options and a brand voice of your own.
This website was built with AI, too
Every page, animation and demo here was designed and built with AI, with me making the decisions and checking the work. In the AI Business Launchpad, you’d build your own site the same way.
